ماژول GSM با قابلیت اتصال GPRS و ارسال و دریافت پیامک SIM900 یک شیلد توسعه است که به راحتی روی برد آردوینو قرار میگیرد و امکانات مختلف ارتباطات موبایل را فراهم میآورد. با استفاده از این ماژول میتوان علاوه بر ارسال و دریافت پیامک (SMS)، تماسهای صوتی برقرار کرد. این ماژول از فناوری GPRS پشتیبانی کرده و امکان ارسال دادهها به صورت بیسیم را برای پروژههای مختلف مهیا میسازد. همچنین این ماژول بهطور کامل با بردهای مختلف آردوینو سازگار است و میتواند در پروژههایی مانند کنترل از راه دور، اندازهگیری بیسیم و دستگاههای هوشمند خانگی استفاده شود.

توجه: برای استفاده از این ماژول به تغذیه مناسب نیاز است. پیشنهاد میشود برای تغذیه از آداپتور 9V 2A استفاده کنید. همچنین در حال حاضر هیچ قانونی مبنی بر رجیستری ماژولهای مخابراتی در کشور وجود ندارد و فروشگاه کافه ربات مسئولیتی در این خصوص ندارد.

The GPRS Shield is based on SIM900 module from SIMCOM and compatible with and its clones. The GPRS Shield provides you a way to communicate using the GSM cell phone network. The shield allows you to achieve SMS, MMS, GPRS and Audio via UART by sending AT commands (GSM 07.07 ,07.05 and SIMCOM enhanced AT Commands). The shield also has the 12 GPIOs, 2 PWMs and an ADC of the SIM900 module(They are all 2V8 logic) present onboard.
